Who We Are
We are a community-rooted nonprofit dedicated to nurturing hope, dignity, and opportunity for individuals and families especially those facing hardship. Through our two flagship programs—Snackpack Giveback Initiative and Family Empowerment Through Enrichment & Care (FEEC)—we address both immediate and long-term needs with compassion and intentionality.
Snackpack Giveback offers monthly street outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness, distributing snacks, essentials, and resources in welcoming public spaces. These events foster trust and connection while reducing barriers to ongoing support.
FEEC supports working families and at-risk children with culturally responsive, in-home care that blends nurturing supervision, early education, and parent coaching. We help families build resilience and promote school readiness through equitable, relationship-centered care.
Whether through a hygiene kit or a reading activity, a snack bag or a supportive caregiver, we’re here to uplift lives—one person, one family, and one act of care at a time.

Onesia Thompkins
Onesia Thompkins is the Chief Executive Officer of Encircled Community Corporation. With over a decade of experience of combining pedagogy and program management, she leads our initiatives with compassion and dedication, ensuring effective operations and community engagement that benefits youth and adult alike.
Jae Yun
Jae Yun is the program director for the Snackpack Giveback Initiative (SPGB). Since the initiative's birth 7 years ago, she has been committed to creating a fun, memorable experience for our volunteers while incorporating feedback from those we serve to ensure the SPGB continues to encircle our community with positive human connection.
Alexis Stafford
Alexis Stafford is an FEEC learning provider through Encircled Community's partnership with the Luminary Learners Lab. Alexis has been an exceptional educator for more than a decade, dedicated to creating engaging STEAM and literacy learning experiences for each youth.
